⚔️Armour for the field and tourney⚔️.Made for Count Andreas Von Sonnenberg (1472-1511) between 1505-1510. Attributed to the master armourer Kolman Helmschmid (1471-1532) and etched by the artist Daniel Hopfer (1471-1536) in Augsburg, Germany. Finally some time to paint!

I can’t believe I started working on this one in december 2022 👀

- “It darkens the heart to call dark deeds good - it gives place for evil to thrive inside us”..After two weeks of working on this one-day drawing, I´m finally done with it!I knew when I started it would take longer than a day because I wanted a more detailed drawing with more effort put in compared to the other «inktober» drawings I did. I also didn´t have a plan. I didn´t know in what «style» I should portray them, what kind of brushes I should use or even how to do it. I had my reference photo and my sketch and from there I went back and forward, added and removed and just did stuff. The process was time consuming, frustrating and tiresome but I learned a lot and I´m surprisingly happy with the end result. I almost gave up on it, but I´m also too stubborn.
